Meet Amazing Grace |

My name is Barbara Shultz I enjoy spending summers at our cottage,traveling,spending time with family and friends,taking art lessons,and volunteering at 10,000 Villages. www.tenthousandvillages.ca Was raised in Deep River,Ontario and have 1 twin sister. Am married to my high school sweatheart,Jim, and we have 2 bachelor sons. Graduated from the University of Toronto. I obtained a CMA Accountant designation. Began a career in 1977 as the first female accountant hired at Syncrude in Fort McMurray. Went on to work in various accounting positions in Grande Cache, Hanna, and Lethbridge. In 2001, moved to Strathmore after being diagnosed with cancer and began active treatment. Have undergone years of cancer treatment including:2 stem cell transplants, months and months of daily radiation,total body radiation, more chemotherapy than I can remember, and one research trial of monoclonal antibodies...so far. I thank God every day as I am immensely blessed to have the most AMAZING support and love of my husband,my sister, my family and my sisterhood of friends!!!! |
